Couples Session

Jeremy + Ryia

This spring's couples session with Ryia and Jeremy was pure magic. Set in the scenic Boise Foothills during golden hour, they were surrounded by soft wildflowers, sweeping views, and a bit of Idaho’s signature spring wind, which only added to the movement and emotion in their photos.

Ryia and Jeremy have been together for nine years and recently celebrated two years of marriage. Their connection felt like best friends wrapped in love — so fun, so sweet, and incredibly laid-back. Photographing them was like documenting a love story that’s still unfolding in the most beautiful way.

One of the most special touches was a quilt Ryia brought — a handmade wedding gift from her grandmother. She wanted to include it in their session as a personal, heartfelt nod to their story. It made the session feel even more meaningful and intimate.

Before our shoot, Ryia mentioned how much she values creativity in photography. She said, “I love photos that you can look at, and it is an art piece instead of just a photo.” That intention helped guide how I captured their story, blending emotion, movement, and the natural beauty of the Foothills into a gallery that feels like an artful love letter.

When I sent over their previews, Ryia’s response was everything:
“Oh my gosh I could cry. These are absolutely so stunning.”

That’s why I do what I do.

Ryia and Jeremy — thank you for trusting me to document this chapter of your love story. You reminded me why candid, heartfelt photography matters. It’s about feeling, not just seeing.
